Economics Professor and director of Education Economics Center Benjamin Scafidi was featured in The Heartlander to discuss the WalletHub study comparing black and white residents in all 50 states and the District of Columbia across eight separate metrics. Scafidi believes there is a direct relation between educational equality to economic inequality.
Amid the Federal Reserve announcing its largest interest rate hike since 1994, Roger Tutterow, Professor of Economics and Director of the Econometric Center, spoke to yahoo news to discuss the possible effects it could have on the economy. Tutterow says though the increase can cause negative effects, it could possibly benefit inflation.
Assistant Professor of Accounting Duanping Hong鈥檚 research on rejected CEO candidates was featured on Study Finds. Hong鈥檚 research reveals that candidates participating in the race for CEO within their companies who were not selected usually succeed in similar opportunities outside of their companies relatively quickly after being rejected.
