On August 25th the kick-off event of 成人直播's Year of Russia featured a multi-faceted and informative panel of professors: Alice Pate, Professor of History; Jack Moran, Professor of Political Science; and Mikhail Melnik, Associate Professor of Economics. Each professor individually presented on an aspect Russia which fell within their respective field and life experience. During the Year of Russia Day the Atlanta Balalaika Society performed classic folk songs and dances from the Russian and Ukrainian regions. Between these two regions, the Society performed a setlist of mixed cultural heritage.
