Services & Scholarship for Coca-Cola Scholars

In addition to offering financial support for first-generation students, the Coca-Cola Scholars Program provides additional services designed to promote the academic success of the students.

These services include:

  • Student Success Coach â€“ The student success coach is an advisor and mentor who helps students address and overcome any obstacles they face while transition to and progress through college to graduation.
  • Workshops â€“ Workshops designed to facilitate the success of the Coca-Cola Scholars as they progress through college will be offered each year.
  • Mentoring Receptions â€“ Each year, students will participate in a mentoring reception that allows them to connect with one another and representatives from the Coca-Cola Company and Foundation.
  • High Impact Practices â€“ Students will be invited to participate in high impact practices, key initiatives that have been shown to greatly benefit college students. These include learning communities, undergraduate research, and diversity/global learning (e.g., study abroad).
  • Student Academic Mentors â€“ Coca-Cola scholars will be matched to a first-generation student at ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ who will serve as a student mentor.

Scholarship Opportunity for Funding

Participants accepted into the Coca-Cola Scholarship Program will receive $5000 annually for four years. Since participants must be HOPE-eligible, the scholarship funds are intended to supplement the HOPE funding and can be used for tuition, fees, books, and other academic related expenses.

Students will also have access to additional funding to cover the costs of study abroad or to participate in undergraduate research, if they so choose.

To maintain their scholarships, participants must maintain a 2.75 GPA while at ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥.
