Kennesaw State students gather with industry experts for Analytics Day

Data ethics is focus of annual event presented by ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥â€™s Analytics and Data Science Institute

³ÉÈËÖ±²¥â€™s will present its annual on April 26, focusing on some of the biggest data issues affecting society, including the ethics involved in the use of data.

What: This half-day event will bring together more than 300 business, industry and academic experts to discuss today’s data challenges and solutions, and will help to build a framework for understanding and using data ethically. The event also will feature undergraduate and graduate students’ work and research in the analytics field, as well as panel presentations from business and academic sectors.  

Who:   

  • Industry leaders from Microsoft, Home Depot, Mailchimp, Catalina and Cox Automotive.
  • Academic experts from Kennesaw State, Georgia Tech, Emory and Spelman.
  • Kennesaw State undergraduate and graduate students in data analytics.
  • More than 300 business leaders from organizations such as Mercedes-Benz, Southern Company, State Farm, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Federal Reserve Bank.
